Chinese New Year Card

Happy New Year to all my dear friends. The Chinese New Year is on 2 feb, the golden Chinese word mean blessing. you can download the free pattern at http://www.amanda-craft.com.tw/


General
Patterns A, B and C were made of ordinary parchment paper.
Pattern D was made of vellum Satin Purple.
The golden Chinese word was made of vellum gold.

Perforationg (Deep)
With 2-needle: along outlines of the Chinese word frame

Cutting
Cut along 2-needle perforations



Pattern A

Tracing
T gold: 2011

Perforationg (Shallow)
With 5-needle and Semi-circle: according to the pattern

Embossing
With Star 2mm and 4mm: according to to the pattern
With extra small ball: dots between the 5-needle perforations

Stipping
With 1-needle: inside the 2011

Perforationg (Deep)
With 2-needle: inside bouble frame, along T Gold tracing and outlines
With 5-needle and Semi-circle: a second time perforation according to the pattern

Cutting
Cut along 5-needle and Semi-circle perforations.


Glue the golden Chinese word on Pattern A


Pattern A and Pattern D



 Glue the pattern A on Pattern D.


Pattern B

Perforating
With 1-needle bold perforate using the Embossing and perforation A4 straight Grid: perforate black dots according to pattern.
Don't perforate gray dots.


Embossing
With extra small ball: dots between the 5-needle perforations


Cutting
Cut 4 perforations hole between embossing dots into crosses, only near fold line.


Fold the line and fix the two layers with tape, then perforate outlines.



Emboss all dots between five needle perfroation and cut all crosses and along 1-needle bold perforations.

PERFORATING
With 1-needle bold perforate using the Embossing and perforation A4 Diagonal Grid: perforate all black dots

Embossing
With small ball: small circle

Cutting
Cut along 1-needle perforations

Finishing
Affix Pattern A on B, then glue some flowers (pattern D) on Pattern A
Completed!

Twhite: double frame, flowers and leaves

Embossing
With Extra Large Ball: between carves outside and leaves
With Large Ball 4.5mm: flower petals

Stipping
With 1-needle: between double frames and flower hearts





Perforationg (Deep)
With 2-needle: inside bouble frame, along T Gold tracing and outlines

Cutting
Cut along 2-needle perforations outside the T Gold tracing



Pattern B

Dorsing with Dorso Oil
With dordo purple: inside the gray frame
Perforating
Fold the flod line, perforate two layers together
With 2-needle: outlines
Cutting
Cut along the 2-needle perforations



Affix Pattern A and B together with Perga Glue.

4-needle Bookmark

DORSING WITH DORSO OIL
With yellow and green: interval coloring (Pattern A)



Glue two flowers together, and a Rhinestone on center.




PERFORATING (SHALLOW)
With 3-needle: along outlines (Pattern A)
With 4-needle: according to the pattern (Pattern A)
EMBOSSING
With Small ball: dots between 3-needle and 4-needle perforations (Pattern A)
PERFORATING (DEEP)
With 3-needle: a second time 3-needle perforations
With 4-needle: a second time 4-needle perforations
CUTTING
Cut 4-needle perforations into crosses and slots, along 3-needle perforations (pattern A)
FINISH
Glue the flower onto the Pattern A, three Rhinestones on between diamond.

Cut 4-needle perforations into crosses and slots, along 2-needle perforations and white pencil tracing. (All Pattern)

Pattern A, Pattern B, 2 piece of Pattern C, 1 piece Brad and ribbon.



Affix 2 piece of Pattern C, Pattern A and Pattern B together with Brad, then tied the ribbon.

Butterfly Bookmark

Pattern B was made of vellum Autumn Leaves.

TRACING
T gold: all black curves (Pattern A) and butterfly (Pattern C)
EMBOSSING
With Large Ball 4.5 mm : between curves (Pattern A),
With Large Ball: butterfly (Pattern C)
With Wheel : dotted curves (Pattern A)
With extra small ball: dots beside dotted curves (Pattern A)
PERFORATING (DEEP)
With 2-needle: along the gold curve (Pattern A and C)
CUTTING
Cut along 2-needle perforations and hole the gray dot. (Pattern A and C)


PERFORATING (DEEP)
With 2-needle: gray curves (If you can not see clear the curves, can put the parchment paper under the pattern B)


CUTTING
Cut along 2-needle perforations, and hole the gray dot. (Pattern B)



The butterfly was finished!


Glue Pattern B on patern A, butterfly on the Pattern A, then tied the ribbon.
Completed!

Flower Fan

Pattern C was made of Paradise Green---colorful side up.

TRACING
T white: all flowers and curves

PERFORATING (SHALLOW)
With 4-needle: according to pattern (Pattern A and B)
With 1-needle bold perforate using the Embossing and perforationg A4 Diagonal Grid: all black dots (Pattern C)

EMBOSSING
With large ball : all flower petals (Pattern A and B)
With small ball: dots between 4-needle perforations (Pattern A and B), dots between 1-needle bold perforations (Pattern C)

PERFORATING (DEEP)
With 2-needl: along the curves and petals of T white tracting
With 4-needle: a second time according to pattern (Pattern A and B)

CUTTING
Cut 4-needle perforations into crosses, and cut along 2-needle and 1-needle bold perforations.

Punch holes according to grey dots in Pattern A and B.




All compoonents.



Glue Pattern C on the center of flower with Perga Glue.


Assemble the 7 fan blades by securing with a brad as indicated in the illustrated pattern.

DORSING WITH DORSO OIL
With dordo red: on the middle



EMBOSSING
With extra small ball: craves and dots
With star 2mm: flower hearts
With small ball: flower petals


CUTTING
Cut along 1-needle bold perforations.



FINISHING
Fold at perforation line, don't too heavy.



Fold at the fold line, don't heavy.



Finished folding.




Put a candy into the box, and affix the sides.



Affix the box.



Completed!
